Your 2009 wish-lists please.
We are expecting a big rush of offers next week.
If there are any wines you’ve been hoping for, and/or reading about ( Barton’s, Pichon’s, Cos, etc) please list these
and e-mail back at your earliest convenience.
This will help us greatly with allocations, especially where many wines will be highly sought after.
The prices have not been revealed, but as they are announced we will double check with you against your pre-order.
While there is no guarantee that we can supply everyone, listing min-max quantity will provide us with a helpful guide.
An updated EP Bordeaux list (includes 2007, 2008, and 2009)

J-F MUGNIER Clos de la Marechale 2007
Just tasted this recent arrival…pretty damn good I would have to say.
Nuits St Georges Clos de la Marechale (J-F Mugnier) 2007…”Violet nose. Quite bright sweet fruit coming through the inky (not too…) NSG fruit. Very silky texture and for NSG quite forward – but deliciously flavoursome with a mouth-coating glycerol aspect, and a long smooth finish.” **** JK 08/04/10.
Available still @ $98 per bottle.

Hospices de Beaune 2009 Auction purchase.
You might be pleased to know that we purchased a barrel of wine from the Hospices auction last November. We have bought Beaune 1er Cru Cuvée Rousseau-Delandes, which if you have a long memory you will remember we had 1993 & 1996…the 2009 is an excellent wine.
Anthony Hanson has this to say…Beaune 1er Cru, Cuvée Rousseau-Deslandes 2009 “Red-purple of medium depth, with fresh, black berries, fruit-cake and kirsch aromas. Picked towards the end of the harvest, this had impressive, natural sugars. The palate is full-bodied and fleshy, with tannins present, but well rounded, the finish being harmonious, rich and long.”
The price will be NZ$62.00 per bottle En Primeur, and if you buy a case you can have your name printed on the label of each of your bottles!

PS the élevage of our Hospices wine is being conducted by Benjamin Leroux at Domaine Comte Armand. Looking good so far on last report….
