2018, Domaine du Pélican, ARBOIS, Savagnin 'Macération Pelliculaire'

The 2018 Savagnin Macération Pélliculaire is outrageously beautiful. A short time of maceration on the skins give its tannins and overall, structure. More like a red wine. Candied orange peel, hazelnut, sage, mint, liquorice and dried flowers are some of the many notes that infuse the 2018 with layers of depth. The 2018 is a showstopper.
