The 2022 Vosne-Romanée Les Beaux Monts 1er Cru comes from light clayey soils. It offers open, well-defined red fruit, exuding Pinoté like Clavelier's other cuvées, gaining depth in the glass and manifesting a subtle flinty character. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannins, very focused with a piquant, lightly spiced finish. Very fine. 94 Neal Martin, Vinous (2023).
