The vines for this cuvée grow at ‘Gorge de Loup’, (Wolf Gorge) where the soil is silt-clay on the surface and alluvial granite deeper down. Concentration is obtained through yield control. The nose is a distillate of ripe red fruit, enriched with mineral and spicy notes. The palate boasts great balance, benefiting from aging in the bottle at the Domaine.
