Seven years on lees. Very popular wine in the Jura. 13% alcohol - although it tasted much stronger! Toasty, nuts & Indian spices, super dry and very fine sherry-like style. This can age for decades developing more complexity over time. J Charvill May 2024
The inaugural 2016 Vin Jaune Arbois showcases pronounced bread dough, dusty lemon peel, hay and walnuts. Full-bodied and concentrated, a touch of heat on the powerful finish suggests the alcohol could have been better integrated.
