Barsac

Sauternes & Barsac is known worldwide for its sweet botrytis wines which including Château d’Yquem – the only Sauternes given the 1855 Bordeaux Wine Official Classification and their dry white Ygrec. Ch. Rieussec, Climens and Guiraud also make their home here south of Bordeaux on the Garonne river.
