Domaine Muré was founded in 1935. Véronique and Thomas Muré (sister and brother) are the current generation managing and making wine at the estate. They are the 12th generation of vine growers in the family. They have taken over from their father René Muré, who is still actively involved in an advisory role. The Murés also own Clos St. Landelin, a south facing lieu-dit located in the Grand Cru Vorbourg, which is in the vicinity of Rouffachin southern Alsace.
