Winemakers Claude and her brother François de Nicolay make impressive yet elegant wine here. Both are strong advocates for organic farming (fully biodynamic) and are continuing to make very fine and expressive Burgundies. Claude gained her diploma in oenology and viticulture in Dijon but also spent some time in New Zealand and Oregon and is considered to be a very fine winemaker.
