A dark but bright crimson colour. The nose is both intense and complete, the terroir more evident than the vinification. This intense fruit continues on the palate, excellent acidity, the best length so far. This will be a keeper. Drink from 2028-2035.

The 2022 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Aux Gravains mingles scents of cassis, cherries, plums and spices with hints of burning embers in an inviting bouquet, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and structured palate that's one of the firmer, more introverted wines in the range this year—as is generally the case.
