This cuvée comes essentially from from Les Forges, neighbour of Meix Chavaux. 25% new oak.
Sweet honeysuckle nuances straight off the bat, but this wine has sappy minerality, hints of sandalwood and a saline finish. Should relax and flesh out with a little time. Jo Charvill 16/08/23.
Pale greeny-gold in appearance. Sweet musky pine nose followed by notes of pears and almond. Mineral, saline and austere on the attack with a long, long finish. This sleek and stream-lined Meursault is still very young and will reward with some time in the bottle. Katharine Maude 16/08/23.
