Extreme limestone personality with a high percentage of Cabernet Franc - massal selection from Lafleur. This is austere at this point and needs time to unroll. This is linear with chalky tannins, juicy dark fruits and a salivating quality on the finish. Excellent grip and tenacity, has a real sense of personality and a wine that you would be happy to share. First vintage under this name. Just four plots producing now, 3.3ha in total although they hope to get to 4.5ha, so around the same size as Lafleur. 94 Jane Anson, Decanter.
