The 2020 Chablis Vaulorent 1er Cru has a light green apple and fresh pear scented bouquet that just needs a little more vigour. The palate is well balanced with a slightly chalky entry, fresh green apple and gooseberry notes with a little more spiciness on the finish compared to other crus. Thoroughly enjoyable, even if it does miss a bit of persistence. 90 Neal Martin, Vinous.
