Situated on Pomerol’s prized central plateau, surrounded by illustrious neighbours such as Vieux Château Certan and La Fleur-Pétrus. 2022 blend is 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Intense, enjoyable, confident tannic frame with fully charged ripe blackberry and raspberry fruits, waves of spice, from slate to rosemary to grilled sandalwood and incense. The 2022 Certan de May is a seriously beautiful wine. Ripe, succulent and very juicy, Certan de May offers tons of immediacy. The style is perhaps a bit opulent, but that is the year. Blue/purplish fruit, licorice, lavender, spice and chocolate are front and center in this decidedly hedonistic Pomerol. 92-95 Antonio Galloni, Vinous.

The 2022 Certan de May opens in the glass with aromas of cherries, minty berries, spices and fruitcake, followed by a medium to full-bodied, pure and fleshy palate that's lively and harmonious, with good depth and a classically proportioned profile. 92-94 William Kelley, Wine Advocate.
