The little brother of Péby Faugères and Faugères, Château Cap de Faugères, with 20 hectares of vines, is located in the pretty commune of Sainte Colombe, in the Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. It benefits from superb clay-limestone slopes that are an extension of the terroir in Saint-Emilion.
85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc.

Inky plum colour, intense with highly charged oak notes, grilled vanilla bean, sage and rosemary, bright plum and damson, closes in quickly with its tannic charge, but there is juice here, just needs time to soften.

Deep colour. Ripe nose with hedgerow-fruit notes to the fore. Supple middle with sufficient fruit then chalky tannins on the finish.
