75% whole bunches. Three barrels as usual. A fine mid purple, with a first-class bouquet, ripe enough fruit but perfectly poised. The generosity is perfectly judged with a happy white pepper lift at the back. Sheer nobility, this has great potential. Drink from 2032-2038. The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Cazetiers 1er Cru contains 80% stems, and they shade the fruit profile at the moment. The palate is well balanced and quite stemmy, a little "Dujac" in style. There is fine grip here, with just a slight attenuation on the finish. 88-90 Neal Martin.
