A luxurious purple with a heady nose. Very engaging and fills the mouth with a fine strawberry and raspberry fruit, with good length. Sensual and fine. 80% whole bunch vinification illustrates the style. Drink from 2032-2037. Tasted Oct 2024. **** 92-94 Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy.

The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Au-Dessus des Malconsorts 1er Cru has a fragrant nose with red cherries, wild heather and iris flower scents - complex and already quite alluring. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins on the entry, gentle grip and touches of white pepper and sage. There is wonderful delineation on the finish. Excellent. 93-95 Neal Martin.
