The 2022 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Fleurières, from a parcel just underneath Les Pruliers, contains around 15% whole bunches. It has a well-defined bouquet of red and black fruit with a touch of incense. The medium-bodied palate is quite a voluminous Village Cru, with fine, supple tannins, maybe needing a little more structure and harmony on the finish. But it will make fine early-drinking NSG. 88 Neal Martin, Vinous (2023).
Racked once and back to barrel. A concentrated mid purple. Not giving much yet, just a darker style of fruit. Then a burst of energetic raspberry fruit on the palate, fresh acidity and fine tannins, very promising. **** 90-92 Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy (2023).
