50 yr old vines on lighter silt-clay above deeper granite. Fantastic depth in this mineral laden wine.
"Argile/clay top layer with underlying silt schist and granite. Deep plum red colour with ruby edge. Boysenberries and white spice with a little lavender on the nose. Round ripe red and black fruits on the attack: boysenberries, red plums. Nice freshness. Mouth coating, elegant mid-palate, with a long, spicy finish." Katharine Maude Oct 2022.
