Set in northern Beaujolais, the vineyard sits in siliceous clay soils over granitic rock. A refined and voluptuous wine, Saint Amour boasts a seductive shiny ruby red robe and scents of peony, raspberry and kirsch. Elegant and tender - lovely silky Beaujolais.
2021 picking was 26th August – 5th September; so a very early but delicious vintage. Katharine Maude.
