The estate's signature wine, Vin de Constance is considered to be one of the most important Vins Doux Naturels (naturally sweet wines) in the world. Napoleon was particularly fond of this wine, sometimes drinking up to a bottle of it each day during his exile on the island of Saint Helena. He is said to have requested it shortly before his death.

Bright light gold in appearance. The nose is layered with aromas of apricots, sandalwood spice & Seville marmalade. A crisp acidity and salinity, with flavours by flavours of nutmeg, citrus, jasmine flower and rose water. Creamy and rich, the palate is textured and complex with a delicate wood spice on the mid palate. The is a fine balance between sugar and acidity, creating a dryer style of Vin de Constance.
Winemaker's note (Matthew Day).

Powerful apricot, chamomile, white tea, pineapple, preserved lemon, white flowers, gentle gunsmoke, intense, concentrated, vivid, just superb quality, spinning and stretching out on the finish. A wonderful vintage of Vin de Constance. Matthew Day winemaker, owners are Zdenek Bakala, Charmes Harman, Hubert de Boüard, Bruno Prats and Hans Astrom.
98 Jane Anson.

Dried apples, apricots, honey and light caramel with some flowers on both the nose and palate. Medium-bodied, sweet but not overpowering, showing lots of freshness and focus. Tangy at the end, but so polished and caressing on the palate. Drink or hold.
95 James Suckling.
