100% Sangiovese from the Vincigliata vineyard facing Florence.
This is extremely good, and I would say great value too. Warm soft dried fruit on the nose. Inviting smoky, fleshy fig and plum notes. Quite approachable already and smooth mid-palate with fine acidity. Very Tuscan in that high-toned way - but lovely - fine-grained with a long juicy and fresh finish.
