50yr old vines on crumbly salmon-red granite and manganese slopes. Lovely rich fruits. Irises and full blown roses. A ripe and concentrated style with a light touch of oak.
Deep boysenberry with ruby edge in colour. Bright red fruits with floral aspect on the nose with further expressive aromas of chocolate and coffee developing. Velvety (Vélouté) mouth feel on the attack, fills out nicely on the finish with notes of cedar. Katharine Maude.
