2022, Domaine Bruno Clavelier, VOSNE-ROMANÉE, 'Les Hauts de Beaux Monts'

A smoky nose is mildly reduced but it shouldn't last. More interesting are the silky and punchy if not especially dense flavours that deliver surprisingly good length on the youthfully austere, precise and stony finale. This inviting effort should drink well after only a few years of keeping yet have no problem repaying up to a decade of aging. Outstanding. 89-91 Burghound.
