Not yet racked. An even medium deep purple. A very elegant floral, rose petal nose with some pleasing light fresh raspberry beneath. Then an extra burst of bright raspberry and cherry fruit on the palate with a little sucrosity, with the cherries reappearing after the light tannins. 13.9%. **** 89-91 Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy (2023).

A vague hint of menthol is present on the ripe and fresh aromas of black cherry, plum, newly turned earth and a hint of the sauvage. The sleek, intense and beautifully detailed flavours aren't quite as mineral-driven but there is even better depth and persistence on the balanced and youthfully austere finale.
