2023, Domaine Darviot-Perrin, CHASSAGNE-MONTRACHET, 1er Cru, 'Les Bondues'

“Les Bondues” is a small, prestigious, eastern-facing Premier Cru vineyard located 100 yards south of Montrachet.  Bondues is a lieu-dit within Chenevottes. The Darviots are the only vignerons to have Pinot Noir in this particular vineyard.

Planted in the 1950s. A fresh bright purple, quite firm on the nose, from these old vines. A darker berried and cherried fruit on the nose, plenty of energy behind on the palate, tannins and acidity well integrated, and the energetic savoury cherry fruit returns behind. Drink from 2028-2032.
