-------------
Located on the Western Coast of France, Graves is technically considered part of the Left Bank. Wines from the Bordeaux Graves region are lauded for their complexity, depth, and elegance, due in part to steady and increasing investment in technology, and a superb terroir that consistently produces great wine. Situated on the left bank of the Garonne River, Bordeaux Graves is one of Bordeaux’s oldest wine regions, and is named for its gravels. This soil type, combined with a maritime climate, creates excellent growing conditions for its key varietals.
