Bordeaux Left Bank

Situated on the west coast of France, the Médoc region or "Left Bank" (as familiarly named by English speakers) is named for its position on the left side of the Gironde estuary. It is home to some of the most famous sub-regions in Bordeaux including Pauillac, Margaux and St. Julien – with illustrious names such as Ch. Palmer, Ch. Mouton-Rothschild and prestigious Ch. Ducru-Beaucaillou and Ch. Léoville-Las-Cases.
